Problem with format_date

Hi all, I have a problem with format_date filter:

- I create a custom object called fatture

- this custom object has a property called emissione. This is a type Date picker

- In my custom module I get last result of the fatture associations by logged contact ID

- In the custom module, I try to format the value emissione, but format_date not working because if I use it, I don’t see any value

- If I try to write last_billing.emissione | pprint, I see that emissione is a string value, not a date object. I think this is my problem, but don’t know how to fix and if there is a workaround to convert date (for example): from 01/01/2024 to 01 January 2024.

Hi, @SLosi :waving_hand: Welcome to the community.

The issue you are having is due to the property field-type. If you need a datetime field-type, you’ll need to create it via our API (this specific property type cannot be created in-app.) It is not possible to convert an existing property, you’ll need to create a new property via our API and use it moving forward. We’ll leave this open in case there are community members who’ve found a workaround outside the documentation. — Create a datetime property
