Priority for Pop-up CTAs

You should be able to set a priority level for pop-up CTAs.
I’d like to have multiple pop-up CTAs on a page, without them all popping up at once.
The best use-case of this would shine when a web visitor x’ed out of a pop-up, the next time they reload a page, there will be a new pop-up for them.
Also, if I wanted to have a site wide pop-up for news, I wouldn’t have to turn off all the other pop-ups while I run it.

We need a way to select which CTA will fire on a page if there are multiple CTAs with overlapping targetting settings. A hierarchy of sorts.

For example: we want to promote some evergreen content as a lead magnent on our blog with a slide-in CTA. However, for a few months, we want to more aggressivly promote a major event we’re hosting with a pop-up CTA on the blog.

Currently, a visitor will receive both CTAs on the blog and will have to close out of both if uninterested — which I think is a bad UX.

It would be great if we could keep those evergreen CTAs on (lead magnets, newsletter subscribes, etc) and be able to “prioritze” when another CTA should fire on the same page.

Bonus points if there’s an alert message: “Warning, you have 2 other CTAs that match some or more of these targeting criteria.”

Yes!!! I’ve been saying the same thing for a while now, too. Would love to be able to set priorities, so no one ever gets served more than one ad at once. Very difficult to ascertain with the current dashboard setup, so lots of room for human error.

Yes, we need this!

We are going to have a great deal of CTAs: for user onboarding, engagement, to promote new features, events, sell new products etc. And as there are a few people working on different goals with the same audience, it’s pretty easy to mess up and show several CTAs at the same time.
Some kind of weight, priority would solve it

This is a critical feature that competitors like Journity an Chameleon have been offering for years. Please add this, Hubspot!

Has this been added or resolved? any workarounds?

It’s crazy that we don’t have a click button way to filter by blog tag. Typically, all blogs have tags; it’s how we organize hundreds of pages that are not in folders. I have to put in dozens of keywords for the include and exclude in CTA targeting, based on url path contains.
Why oh why can’t I say target “tag = seo/topic name” or “product name”, or whatever tags I have in my blog system?
There are so many features around targeting and frequency in the pop up CTAs that are missing. I can set to show it by number of days, but not sessions? No target by geo.
I have to build long strings for every CTA, to dance around hundreds of pages. I don’t have a dev to build out Hubl and templates for all the campaigns I may want to turn off/off in a year, HS is supposed to be generally push-button easy.

Adding to the groupthink here - this is absolutely essential if you want to run more than 1 pop up for different assets within a section of your website (e.g. blogposts with certain codes, in which the URL doesn’t always have the same path). We have extremely complicated lists and processes to manually do this but it is not efficient, is annoying, and frankly should be a standard part of the CTA feature/targeting in Hubspot!
