Populating field with workflow event triggered activity information

For within workflows that are triggered by an activity (example clicked link in a marketing email), being able to populate a text based property with info from the email link click that triggered the flow.
For example: a contact clicked link AB in email with subject line XYZ, being able to populate text based field with:
Clicked link AB in email with subject line XYZ
Similarly so for any other events that can be used to trigger a workflow.

Hi @LAB-MV

Can you explain what the ultimate goal is to have this written into a custom contact property?

The information already exists in HubSpot - you are using it to trigger a workflow.

So what are you planning to do once that information is written in a property?

Cheers

Frank

Hi @franksteiner79 - the above idea is related to integration of HubSpot and SalesForce -- while all the info is in HubSpot, the only way it’s visible in SalesForce is via the HubSpot visualforce widget (which isn’t convenient). By being able to copy activity triggered info from HubSpot into a text field, which could then be mapped to SF would allow for that info to be readily avilable for use in SF (like for building lead lists or reports in SF etc).
