I have a set of custom properties in the “Marketing Campaigns” that need to be automatically updated via workflow to make our process scalable, however there is no option in the system to build a “campaign-based workflow”.
I need to automatically update custom properties living in the Campaigns object, but cannot accomplish the task with the Workflows tool.
Agreed!! What is an obvious requirement on the campaign tracking / analytics side becomes quite tedious and time consuming workarounds. Please review HubSpot.

Yes! If this existed it would allow us to use Hubspot as an actual event/marketing project tool. Right now it doesnt make sense to use it at all if we can’t track what’s being done and auto fill in tasks that always apply to campaigns.

We’re currently running a private beta that makes Campaigns available as an object in workflows and adds contact-based enrollment when a contact is influenced by a campaign. That means you can use campaign properties (like name, status, dates, owner, budget/spend) directly in workflows, and you can trigger automation when a contact is “influenced” by a specific campaign.
