Playbook Updates!

:stop_sign: Playbook data and completion activity should be available in HubSpot, here’s why:

:alien_monster: Making playbook completion a required action for sales reps helps to establish and adhere to an agreed upon process

:handshake: Completion of a playbook should trigger a deal to be created with all of the information collected pinned to the deal

:bar_chart: The ability to track how many playbooks are being completed in comparison to deals created (or closed) is a very valuable KPI for sales enablement

Couldn’t agree more on this! Also wish Hubspot would make all of its functionality available for Sales Pro subscriptions.
The inability to record prospecting questions as values for non-enterprise subscriptions kind of puts an ankle weight on its usefulness.

Agree, plus the ability to run a list or something on what records have had the playbook used/completed.

A colleague created a playbook but the questions are just normal questions with text space for answers, but it would’ve been good to have them all going to custom properties so we can take a look at anytime at the sorts of answers we are getting to spot trends/hesitations etc. I can see that the playbook has been viewed X number of times but that’s it. There’s no way for me to find what records have had the playbook used.

Hi @crispyGTM, thanks for the feedback! Agreed on the use case of needing required Playbooks (we heard that a lot during the Process Guides private beta) & on needing better reporting on Playbooks, which has an entire community forum post dedicated to it, too.
We’re not actively planning to work on these features, but I’d love to continue to hear ideas of how you’d expect required Playbooks to work (same or different than required properties for stage change). I’m pretty clear on the other two requests of better reporting + triggering a deal to be created on completion of Playbook (might be possible with workflows today, but it takes an extra step). Thanks! Winnie
