We would love API access to HubSpot Playbooks , specifically the ability to create, update, and import Playbooks programmatically.
Right now, Playbooks are a powerful way to scale consistent processes across sales and service teams. But without API access, managing them across a large organization or syncing them with external content systems is entirely manual.
Why this matters:
- Scalability: Large teams need to create and maintain dozens (sometimes hundreds) of Playbooks. Doing this manually in the UI is inefficient and error-prone.
- Version control and content syncing: Many companies use internal knowledge bases, CMSs, or content management tools to manage documentation. API access would allow Playbooks to sync with those sources.
- Automation: With API access, we could auto-generate Playbooks based on roles, lifecycle stages, or onboarding processes — dramatically improving rep ramp-up time.
- Consistency across markets: Companies with multi-region teams need a programmatic way to push localized versions of Playbooks at scale.
Requested features:
- Endpoint to create a new Playbook
- Endpoint to update existing Playbooks
- Endpoint to fetch Playbook metadata and content
- Optional: Bulk import/export capability (CSV or JSON)
If Playbooks are to remain a central part of sales/service enablement in HubSpot, they need to be API-accessible like other CRM assets.
