The HubSpot Scheduler Forms do not allow PII collection (used for Enhanced Conversions, Offline Conversions, some Server Side CAPI tags).
HubSpot’s reply from the helpdesk:
As of now, HubSpot’s native Scheduler forms, including those used in integrations are intentionally designed not to pass or expose PII (Personally Identifiable Information) to external tracking scripts, including those implemented via Google Tag Manager (GTM) or server-side tracking. This policy is in place to protect user privacy and comply with data protection regulations.
Other HubSpot Forms:
Standard HubSpot forms (not Scheduler/meeting booking forms) are more flexible, and PII data can be captured and passed to tracking scripts if configured correctly, following HubSpot’s privacy and API guidelines.
Why the Limitation Exists:
Scheduler forms (meeting links) use a different backend process for calendar booking and do not expose form fields or PII via the DOM for tracking tools to capture, even server-side. This architecture keeps calendar and contact data secure, but also limits third-party tracking.
Still PII data into the datalayer would add great value for commercial tracking. Especially since HubSpot has great features for Offline Conversion matching natively build in.
Click IDs can be used for these too, but Safari 26 has at least opened fire on Click IDs. Therefore PII matching (something our company regularly does this way) would eliminate the necessity for click IDs.
I’m curious what other people think.
