I think a slightly unusual case: I generally build GTM workflows B2B, but I have a client that needs to get handwritten customer cards (Name, anniversary, referrred by etc.) into Hubspot.
OCR with GPT4o is really good and up to the task, but what’s the workflow setup for this?
Due to the sales environment, capturing this digitally right away is not an option. Anyone have a HS native solution for something like this via Marketplace?
Hey @Andreas10016, thank you for posting in our Community!
For your client’s need to digitize handwritten customer cards into HubSpot, you can set up a workflow using OCR technology. While HubSpot doesn’t have a native OCR solution, you can integrate third-party OCR tools with HubSpot.
To our top experts, @danmoyle and @Phil_Vallender do you have any recommendations for @Andreas10016 matter?
Thank you,
Pam

Hey @PamCotton @danmoyle – you rock, appreciate your responses.
I’ll follow this thread and check out Dan’s recommendations.
Hi @Andreas10016. I haven’t personally made the connection between an OCR platform and HubSpot, but I did find a couple of potential options when I poked around. You can connect Nanonets OCR to HubSpot through Zapier or Integrately. It’ll allegedly allow you to extract that text from the handwritten cards and create or update HubSpot records with that data.
It looks like two other integrations are OCR Web Service via Zapier, and Tesseract OCR via Onlizer.
It’s possible that your client might need Operations Hub for customcoded workflows, just as a final thought.
Hope that helps a bit!
If you haven’t found a good way to do this, you should check out leadbeam.ai it does this!
