I’m trying to create a report for overdue tasks so my team can find them at a glance. I have the following filters:
Task Status: None of Completed
Task Due Date: More than 3 days before today
Tasks Assigned to Reps: Reps listed
However, It seems when I run this report it shows far more tasks than what are actually there. It appears that if there is a task in the future(two weeks from now for example), it shows that task and every task associated with that contact, completed or not, as not completed and past due. Is there a fix to this?
Hi @CBlount,
Can you please share a screenshot of your report settings? I can’t quite follow where and how exactly you set this up.
In any case, have you considered simply using the Overdue tab under Menu > Sales > Tasks?
Best regards!
Of course. I use that pretty frequently, however, now I’m just curious as to why this isn’t working! It seems that I have all of the appropriate filters in place. When I go to my overdue tasks page, it only shows that we have 17.
Thank you!
Hi @CBlount,
Looking at that screenshot, your report seems to be using two data sources – tasks and sales activities. In other words, your report is attempting to look at the relationship between… the same object. Can you use the Task status field from the Task data source instead of the Sales activities source?
Best regards
