One Time Discount Functionality In Line Items View

Hi!

Our team would love to suggest extending the “One Time Discount” functionality beyond the “Quote” object and into the “Line Items” object.

Currently, in line items, you can add product based discounts but you cannot add a one time discount to the subtotal. This would help our account management team and billing team better project revenue on first year renewals. We often extend “Year One Discounts” to customers and would love to track this in “Line Items” as that’s what we link to our contracting / e-signature software.

Any help / tips appreciated!

+1. A one-time discount would be great, or even better the ability to set exactly how many terms of a recurring product will be discounted (e.g. apply a 6-month discount to a 12-month subscription).
