Hi - I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me with this issue. I currently have Hubspot integrated with my Gmail. When a new contact is sending me an email, Gmail has the contact’s first and last name displayed (i.e. Jane Doe jd@gmail.com). However, when I click to add this contact to Hubspot, Hubspot will populate the contact fields with “first name: jd” and "email: jd@gmail.com" instead of “first name: Jane,” “last name: Doe,” and "email: jd@gmail.com." How do I get it to populate the correct first name and last name given that Gmail is able to correctly identify these categories?

I have a workaround for you. Instead of using the ‘Log Email to HubSpot’ option (highlighted in red), you can use the ‘Add to HubSpot’ feature (highlighted in green). Simply manually enter the first and last names as indicated in the green box on the right side of the image.
