I have set up a non-hubspot form which is submitting data fine, the only issue is I am having trouble setting up a page redirect on submission. I have tried multiple ways but had no luck so far. Has anyone ran into the same problem? If so, what was the solution?
This won’t be possible as the form exists outside of HubSpot, if you’re using a tool like Gravity Forms, Ninja Forms, etc. these tools have redirects baked in. Alternatively, if you do swap to a HubSpot form, you could alter the embed code to redirect based on various values.
Hey @Bryantworks thanks for your reply. So it’s a bit of an odd set up, I am using a Hubspot website, with a non-hubspot form as I want to be able to create a multi-step form. Which I have done. It’s just this final bit that is causing issues. My last resort which I will try this week, is to create a normal hubspot form with the same fields as my non-hubspot form, hide the hubspot form with CSS and use the post data to push the data and control the redirect as you usually would within hubspot. Have you any experience with this? I’ll let you know how I get on
Hey @LMann is there any specific reason why you can’t set the redirect on your existing form? It sounds like that should be easier that what you’re describing as the solution to hide the HubSpot form.
Hi @TomM2 thanks for you reply. This is the issue I’m having, I can’t seem to add the redirect to the non-hubspot form. It just ends on the same URL with the field added as parameters. Have you had any success implementing a redirect on a non-hubspot form?
@LMann non-HubSpot forms doesn’t really do anything at all on the form, it won’t affect the third party form at all. It’s just a script which captures the fields which have been entered on the form, it doesn’t “plug in” to the form or affect the forms behaviour at all. So if you have a third party form you’re capturing with this, you’ll just need to set up the redirect the way that third party form generally sets up redirects.
