hi,

I am afraid I know next to nothing about SEO, yet is expected to create a working website that can be found by clients easily. Any help from you guys will be highly appreciated.

Hello @JVolner
There are many aspects of SEO that you need to consider, but the main areas you need to focus on for a new website IMO would be:
1. Keyword Research-Focus on long-tail keywords for more specific, less competitive searches.2. Quality Content Creation - Create high-quality, original content that answers your audience’s questions.
3. Technical SEO - Make sure your website is mobile-friendly, improve page speed, ensure secure connection (HTTPS), create an XML sitemap, and use schema markup for rich snippets.
4. On-Page SEO - Ensure your titles, headings, and meta descriptions include target keywords. Optimize images with alt text and file names. Ensure your URL structure is clean and includes keywords.

5. In-Bound Linking - Increase your site’s authority by getting high-quality inbound links.
6. Social Media Integration - Share your content on social media, engage with your followers, and include social sharing buttons on your site.
The list above is only a general hint list for SEO as every site, company, target demographic, etc will change the way you plan for your SEO.
Hope this helps. There is some great material available on the Hubspot site that provides some foundational knowledge as you start your SEO journey.
