New HubSpot Form Builder Forms Not Rendering on Tablet & Mobile in WordPress

I’m running into an issue with the HubSpot WordPress plugin, the new Form Builder, or maybe the HubSpot Form widget:

Environment:

  • WordPress site with the HubSpot plugin installed
  • Forms created in HubSpot’s new Form Builder
  • Embedded via the HubSpot Form widget

What I’m Seeing:

  • Desktop view: New forms render perfectly.
  • Tablet/Mobile preview: The form block disappears entirely.
  • Manual re‑add of HubSpot Form widget in tablet/mobile builder: Only legacy (classic) forms load—new forms never surface.

Steps I’ve Tried:

  1. Re‑added the HubSpot Form widget in tablet/mobile builder – only legacy forms appear.
  2. Switched to an HTML widget embedding the raw “new” Form Builder code – nothing renders in tablet/mobile.
  3. Created a HubSpot Content Embed, added the new form, published it, then pasted that embed code into an HTML block – the form appears, but the container height isn’t adjustable, leading to nested scrolling inside the block.

Key Finding (from community research):

  • HubSpot’s new Form Builder does not support custom modules, so it won’t surface in non‑desktop breakpoints via the Block Editor.

Workarounds Under Consideration:

  • Rebuild all forms in the legacy form builder so they render natively at every breakpoint.
  • Abandon the HubSpot widget on tablet/mobile and implement a fully custom solution using the non‑HubSpot form process.

Both options carry significant trade‑offs—either re‑creating dozens of forms or losing native widget convenience and tracking.

Call for Feedback:
Has anyone else encountered this limitation with the new Form Builder and custom modules? Any suggestions or official fixes from HubSpot would be hugely appreciated—this is slowing down our mobile/tablet website rollout and impacts core form functionality.

While the ‘old’ forms have the Legacy tags, the new forms editor still has the Beta tag. Not ideal. They have recently added the ability to add new forms to custom modules, but still a lot to be desired in the default look and feel and overall clunkiness.
