New Forms Editor API

We have a couple forms built out in the new form editor. Part of this work requires that we listen for the submission event of the form to send a version of the intake form to the our custom application and redirect to a custom “next steps” page.

It looks like this is not yet supported in the new Form Editor currently in Beta. We are getting the following error message below when trying to initiate the form using the hbspt.forms.create() syntax, outlined here:

We are assuming that this means that the new Form Editor is not set up to be fetched programmatically, but wanted to check with you to see if you knew anything more around this. If we cannot send this information to the app and redirect the user, it’s likely we’ll need to build the intake forms using the Legacy Form Builder.

Hi @HHero and welcome to the Community, we are so glad to have you here!
Thanks for asking the Community!
It also seems to me that it’s not possible at the moment but I will check on this for you internally and get back to you if I have additional information.
Also, I’d love to ask some of our Top Experts and Community Members:
Hi @JairoPy, @caique-machado, @AnxiousBiscuit and @Anonymous have you tried to fetch the new forms via API? Do you have any insights to share with @HHero, please?
Thanks a lot and have a great day!
Best,
Bérangère

Hi @HHero, thanks for your patience as I was checking on this for you.
Great news! I am happy to share that we’ll be launching Callbacks and Styling API early Q1.
Regarding creating and editing, at the moment, the best way to do that would be via the H1.
I hope this helps!
Have a lovely day!
Best,
Bérangère
