I have build reports in a custom dashboard specifically as needed for import / export for other uses… every report when exporting now includes fields I purposely excluded such as “created”, “deal Name”, “Amount in Company Currency” and “Deal Owner” - How can I remove these? When I go back to customize my reports these fields do show up.

I understand that your custom reports, which originally excluded specific properties, are now being exported with those properties. Is that correct? If so, can you also clarify what you mean when you say “When I go back to customize my reports these fields do show up.”? Do you mean that those excluded fields are now included in your reports? If so, can you remove them and attempt to re-export without them?
Any screenshots you can provide to accompany this inquiry are much appreciated and helpful to finding a solution!

This is, as far as I can tell, expected behavior. Single object deal reports will automatically include these properties in the report details and thus exports:
- Deal
- Deal name
- Close date
- Deal stage
- Pipeline
- Ammount in Company Currency
- Deal Owner
- Create date
If you recreate the report in the custom report builder, you’ll only see the record ID forced into the report details. The solution would be for you to recreate the report in the custom report builder: Create reports with the custom report builder

These reports are all custom yet these fields are coming up.
It looks like you’ve already tried what’s been suggested. Sounds like 1) it’s still not working for you and 2) you’re pulling and pushing data on a regular cadence.
If you’re mainly using these reports for import/export workflows, you might find it easier to skip the report and manual exports altogether. A tool like Coefficient, certified on HubSpot’s marketplace, can pull exactly the fields you want directly into Google Sheets or Excel, keep them refreshed automatically, and even write data back into HubSpot if you need to update records after manipulating them in your sheet. That way you’re not fighting with extra columns in CSVs or constantly exporting/re-importing.
As a note: I do work at Coefficient, so happy to help if you want to see how that might fit your process. It could save you quite a bit of time if you’re building dashboards specifically for import/export use cases since it offers a 2-way sync between HubSpot and your spreadsheet.
