As the free emailing limit is 2000 and resetting every month, since the beginning of September I just sent 1262 but for 871 contacts it says I reached the limit. But it also shows that I have 841 emails left but support says “It can be shown like that in my system but in their system it says I reached the limit (!)”. It doesn’t make sense to me First; I didn’t reach 2000 emails this month, and second; the things that are shown on my system matter not your system as I’m the customer. Can you help me to resolve this issue please?
There are different sending limits imposed, especially on free accounts. Typically I don’t recommend clients use the free version to send as the limits are very low as well as the tolerance for spam in those free sends that can lead to permanent bans that are not reversible. My perspective on the free account is that it’s meant to be more of a demo and less of a freemium model.
The sending limits within Hubspot do not allow you to email 1 contact 2,000 times in a month for instance. The starter package is 5x, pro 10x, and enterprise 20x. I do not know what the current specifics are for the free tool, but I would assume it to be lower than the 5x, maybe 2x? Support would need to confirm that for you. Are you able to tell how many times those contacts were already emailed this month? That may be an indicator to show you the current limits in the free account.
