Mobile App Offline Capabilities

Just wanted to bring this to the community to hopefully get a resolution. Something that was highly talked about in the beginning phases of us looking at HubSpot was the offline access capabilities. We have a lot of salesman traveling and are constantly hitting dead-zones so it was very important that HubSpot had those capabilities. It was one of the top driving factors in why we chose HubSpot. Well, recently my salesman tried using the app when out of service and it came back with the attached screenshots below.

This was extremely discouraging as one of the things the HubSpot sales rep told me in an email was “Full offline access with auto-sync when signal returns”. This clearly is not the case (based on the screenshots). We have a Professional CRM account. Were we told incorrectly? Is there a plan to allow offline access, even basics? I keep seeing articles that there is mild use without service but I’m not seeing that from this end.

Hi @cheymar1776, I can completely understand how frustrating this situation must feel — especially when offline access was a key requirement for your sales team and played a major role in choosing HubSpot.

I honestly don’t know much about offline capabilities in the HubSpot mobile app, but did some research and came across this article: Can You Access HubSpot Without Internet Access in 2025

That basically states that HubSpot does support a limited degree of offline access in the mobile app, but only for data that has already been downloaded to the device. For example, if a user has recently viewed contacts, companies, deals, or tasks, those cached records will still be accessible offline. Edits made to these items should also queue automatically and sync once the device is back online.
What is not included in the offline capabilities is new data requests, filtered views, pipelines, or anything not cached locally cannot be loaded offline. That’s typically when users see the “No internet connection” screen like in your screenshots.
My recommendation will be:

  • Have reps open key records or lists before traveling, so they’re cached locally.
  • Encourage reps to log notes or updates offline — they typically sync correctly once the device reconnects.
  • If they’re consistently working in dead zones, consider whether HubSpot’s task queues or custom lists can be preloaded before travel.

Hope this helps, and if you need further assistance with your HubSpot setup, we also offer free consultancy sessions:
