Missing read only feature for custom properties inside HubSpot

Hi,

is there any way, e.g. for a deal entity, to set form properties to read only or any workaround to handle that missing feature?

When we fill propeties by a workflow, no one (maybe exept admins) should be able to edit this field.

Hey @hkampen,

Unfortunately, this isn’t possible, only permissions around the edit of properties as a bulk option is (ex: all or nothing). Looks like someone already has an idea about it!

I’m trying to do the same thing with an integration with Mailchimp. I have a linkage (via two-way contact sync in PieSync [aka hubspot operations]) to what Segment a contact is in Mailchimp, (they call these “tags”), which I have created a custom property in hubspot for (called “Tags”) - I want to see the tags in Hubspot, but I don’t want people to mess with them. Looks like I can’t do that for now. I just want to make that property read-only.
