We are building integrations for several clients.
Some clients started to use the merge contact functionality and they are interested in using the merge contact API but need to be sure if it is worthy.
My question - is the merge contact API stable? or are there any changes in the near future?

Are you referring to the Merge contacts endpoint?
If so, this endpoint is stable. There are no immediate plans to change it.
