Marketing events API Get request Error 405 Method Not Allowed

Hi,

I would like to get some support releted to Marketing Events API.

While making Get request to the endpoint: ‘https://api.hubapi.com/marketing/v3/marketing-events/events/’

I receive ‘Error 405 Method Not Allowed’,

however Post request to the same endpoint works well.

I am using priver app acces token as an authentication method.

Any idea why I get the error?

Thanks in advance ))

Hey, @lstepany :waving_hand: Thanks for reaching out. To clarify, you are using the Marketing Events API endpoints, correct? If so, there is not a GET https://api.hubapi.com/marketing/v3/marketing-events/events/ endpoint in the documentation. The endpoint you linked to can be used to create a new marketing event. If you want to list specific events, you need to use this endpoint instead:

GET
/marketing/v3/marketing-events/events/{externalEventId}

If you want an endpoint from this API to get all events, that is not a documented option. You can either search by the full externalEventId, or you can use a partial ID with the following search endpoint:

GET /marketing/v3/marketing-events/events/search

Hi @Jaycee_Lewis

Thanks for the reply!

Yes I am using above mentioned endpoints and initially I would like to get all Marketing events, but if it is not possible then still getting a single Marketing event would be useful. However again I am facing some problems.

Let’s make it simple and clear: I am able to create a single Marketing event using this endpoint >>

POST --> 'https://api.hubapi.com/marketing/v3/marketing-events/events/

now I want to get this just created event, should I use this endpoint ? >>

GET --> https://api.hubapi.com/marketing/v3/marketing-events/events/{ExternalId}

if yes then where to find the value of {ExternalId}?

Thank you :slightly_smiling_face:
