Mapping associated properties during import

I need to import Deals from excel sheet. Every Deal is associated with a contact. I’m unable to map the contact name in the excel sheet to the Contact Name field during import process, as the available properties are only Deal properties. The Contact name is an associate property.

Is there a way to work around this?

Hi @Cairo,

It sounds like you’re importing just one object - please follow the steps for importing multiple objects: Import records for multiple objects

Keep in mind that if you’re only mapping the first and last name on the contact object, HubSpot will create duplicates if these contacts already exist in the CRM. HubSpot needs either the record ID or their email address in the import file to successfully deduplicate: Deduplicate records in HubSpot
