Welcome to the Community @gshiroor. How will you create this list of newsletter recipients in HubSpot? If your segment/list criteria is based on something like a sign up page and form, then this list would only exist as the newsletter subscribers. If you don’t want any of these folks to be in other lists for some reason, make sure you include list criteria in each new segment like “and is not on distributors newsletter list.”
Similarly, if Distributor is a specific contact type, you could create that as an option in the HubSpot Buyer Persona property, and exclude that persona from other lists/segments as you create them.
It’s a bit of a bigger scenario than what you asked, but hopefully something to consider. Oftentimes in HubSpot, I’ve found over the years, there’s more than one way to solve my questions.
