How to keep a list excluded from email sends?

Hello all, we have a list of contacts that we can only send a marketing email to ONCE.

Once we send that email, we need to exclude them from all future email sends. We don’t want to delete them from our Hubspot database though, as we want to allow for sales to follow up one on one if needed, etc.

Besides manually excluding this list on every email send, is there a way to exclude this list from future email sends automatically? We don’t want to risk forgetting to exclude this list from a send one day. It would be better if it was done automatically.
Can anyone think of way, or does this already?

Hi @pina

This is, and always has been, a tricky area of list use.

I think the best option you have available is to opt out everyone on that list from all email types.

You should be able to do this in bulk or by workflow.
