First, thanks for adding dark mode testing.
Per Hallie’s note announcing that feature, I’m going to add a new request for the ability to create light and dark mode versions of emails. I know not all email clients support the prefers-color-scheme media query, but if we could at least leverage it for image replacement for the clients that do, it would be an improvement. If we could add by-mode styling, that would be even better.

Yes. My request was in response to the solution in the main request (https://community.hubspot.com/t5/HubSpot-Ideas/Functionality-support-for-branding-in-Dark-Mode/idi-p/301382) that specifically said “As a note, some comments mentioned an ability to create a ‘version’ of an email for both Dark and Light modes, so if that is still something you’d like to see implemented, I would encourage you to post a new feature request for that specific ability.”
I also agree that the other requests are generally asking for the same thing, but they don’t include the prefers-color-scheme media query information.
