In the Lifecycle Stage module, the current UI says “Stages” for when a Stage is used. I believe this should be titled “Usage”. It is duplicative to call it “Stages” again. Also, in the text below, it says “This stage has X usages.”
Hey @tdetillion
Good catch, you’re right that the labeling is a bit confusing there. Having a section called “Stages” inside the Lifecycle Stage details panel when its actually showing where that stage is used (in lists, workflows, etc.) doesnt make much sense. The description text saying “44 usages” confirms it should probably just be labeled “Usage” or “Used in” to match the other section above it.
I spend alot of time poking around HubSpot’s settings panels (building integrations at Stacksync) and these little inconsistencies are pretty common honestly. They tend to accumulate as features get added over time.
Best way to get this on HubSpot’s radar is to submit it through the product feedback channel. You can do that by clicking the Help button in your HubSpot portal and selecting “Give feedback” or posting it in the HubSpot Ideas forum. UI polish fixes like this do get picked up, especially when they cause genuine confusion.
Nice eye for detail!
