Lead Stage Process

Hi,

I HubSpot is there a way to to build a logic that sales rep can move the lead stage from Stage A to Stage E, only when they first move it to Stage B?

I want to make sure sales rep directly don’t make lead stage to the end stage we define. I know this can be done in Salesforce but in HubSpot can anyone suggest better way?

Also, is it ideal to have the above in lead object or on contact object?

Hey @ajinkyamurtey

you can’t set this up for the Leads pipeline of the Prospecting tool

but you can do it for regular Deal Pipeines in the Rules section.

@ajinkyamurtey in hubspot you can move the deal stages through workflow fully automate process and change the deal stages through A to B and also you can make a required property checkbox helps that your sales rep only move the stages when a particular property is marked than your sales reps are move the deal stages to the next stages.
