Lead Conversion Time Report

Hi,

I want to know how long it takes to convert a lead?
So how much time a lead spends at each stage of the life cycle. So I wanted to create a report, but I really have no idea how. Should I base it on deals or contacts?
Found it, but there was no step-by-step instruction.

  1. Create a calculation property for the duration you want to measure:

  1. Navigate to Menu > Reports > Reports > Create report > Single object > Contacts
  2. Set Filters to whatever date range makes sense for you. If you’re unsure, go for all time. Also, filter for the property you created above ‘is known’.
  3. In the Data tab, find the calculation property you created.
  4. In the Visualization tab, drag and drop the property into the Displaying area, select Average and choose the visualization the shows just one number as a tile. This would now show the average of this number across the contacts included in the report filters.

Keep in mind that this duration will only be calculated and shown for contacts where both dates (from the calculation property above) are known.
