Welcome. Having a degree can be exciting and it definitely sounds like you have a lot of ambition to succeed in whichever direction you choose. I don’t know about what industry you are looking to write in based on your journalism background but if you go into an agency you could work for any number of clients that could be across multiple industries. If you are looking into digital marketing and content creation I would focus on your job search on content marketing as that will look more into the writing side of marketing. If you go too far digital you could end up at the other end of the spectrum with marketing operations which is tied closer to execution and system operations. I would definitely recommend connecting with people in the industry and look for slack channels or other networks to build your own network as there are many people you can learn from at this point in your career.
