An agency helped my team develop a landing page and passed along the HTML for implementation. However, something is getting lost in translation when it’s moved to Hubspot.
1. The hero banner will not appear at all
2. The page doesn’t extend the full length and width of the browser
These are not issues that appear in the HTML independent of Hubspot.
Any idea how to fix it?
Hi @LLuchento it sounds like maybe they created an HTML landing page rather than developing the page/module using HubL so that it works within the HubSpot CMS.
Can you provide more insight into how it is configured in design tools?
It’s possible that the issue is related to how the HTML is being implemented in Hubspot. Here are a few things you can try to fix the issues:
- Hero banner not appearing: Check the HTML code to make sure that the image or content for the hero banner is properly linked and is accessible. If the image is linked through a URL, make sure that it’s not a broken link. You should also check the CSS styles for the banner to make sure that it’s not being hidden or displayed incorrectly. If the banner is not appearing at all, it’s possible that there is a conflict with the CSS styles being used in Hubspot.
- Page not extending the full length and width of the browser: This could be a result of the HTML not being properly set up for responsive design. Check the CSS styles for the page to make sure that it’s using a responsive layout and that the page is set to fill the full width of the browser. You should also check to see if there are any conflicting styles being used in Hubspot that might be causing the issue. If the page is not extending the full length of the browser, it’s possible that there is a problem with the container elements used in the HTML code.
If you’re still having trouble after trying these steps, you may want to reach out to the agency or developer who created the HTML code to see if they can provide any assistance. They may be able to identify the problem more quickly and provide a solution that is specific to the HTML code they created.
Hello @LLuchento
Thanks for reaching out. Good question, but can you share me link? I can give you the best suggestion. Thanks
