I found this great plugin that integrated with Google Sheets - yayy!
Right sidebar subscription compatibility says that it’s compatible with Free plan - yayyy!!!
I click to view the setup guide and it tells me to use Workflow to get this setup… umm but Free plan doesn’t include workflows. So this isn’t really compatible with my plan is it? Or am I missing something?

Correct, I can see how the app listing is a bit misleading. While the app is free and can be installed in all portals regardless of the HubSpot subscription, it’s functionality is tied to workflows which are only available in Professional and Enterprise subscriptions.
If you want to integrate HubSpot and Google Sheets on a free plan, I’d recommend doing so via the Zapier integration: Use HubSpot's integration with Zapier

There’s a better alternative. If you want to integrate Google Sheets to Hubspot, try Superjoin. It works on the free plan and they have a free forever plan as well, so you won’t spend any money.
There are other 3rd party options that do offer a Free plan with a 2-way connect between HubSpot and Google Sheets. Here’s Coefficient on HubSpot’s marketplace, and there are a couple of other options like Coupler, too.
