We want our sales team to call specific contacts every month to do a ‘health check’ on the customer (ask questions to find out how the health of the account is doing), so we schedule recuring tasks.
To get the right questions answered we have created a playbook for them to follow.
However we want the playbook to apear in the scheduled task so they know that is what they are meant to do without needing to click out of the task then into the playbooks
Would be very useful - we are looking for a way to standardize follow-up calls to website form submissions. Linking a workflow triggered task to a Playbook would be a great way to do that.
Hi, I’m the Playbooks PM. This isn’t possible in current Playbooks, but my team is actively exploring a new feature we’re calling Process Guides for enforcing process in HubSpot. A big part of this feature will be how do you surface it to users, whether on the record, in a workspace, or perhaps through Tasks.
We’re gathering input from customers on what the top processes they care about are. Check out the loom linked in this survey to learn more about the product and help us out by filling out the survey by Dec 15th, 2024!
The survey is open to any HubSpot customer or prospect. Thanks in advance for the great feedback this community offers to us in Product at HubSpot!
Hi everyone, I’m coming back to update this thread following my response in November 2024.
At the time, I shared that my team was exploring Process Guides as a way to better enforce process in HubSpot, including how to surface the right guidance within Tasks. Unfortunately, that project didn’t succeed and was sunset at the start of 2026. I wanted to close the loop here rather than leave my previous response hanging.
Because of that, I’m moving this to Not Planned. The ask of having a playbook surface directly within a task so reps don’t have to navigate away is a good one, and I understand why it matters for recurring processes like health checks and renewal calls. I’m passing this feedback on to the team that owns Tasks, because the need for better integration between structured process guidance and task execution might be something they can tackle from their angle. From the Playbooks side, we’re not planning additional feature development in the next few months so I’m updating the status accordingly.
Thanks for the patience, and I’m sorry this one didn’t come through.
