Initial integration sync w/ Salesforce super slow

Hi - this morning we deleted all our Hubspot contacts, then uninstalled and reinstalled the sync. 9 hours later, no contacts have come over, and we’re at 1697 API calls, with that number slowly growing every few minutes. Even new records that I’ve added in the last few hours haven’t come over, and I’m assuming they’re in line behind the other Salesforce records.

This integration with these settings works - just the other day we did an uninstall/reinstall and 8000 contacts came over. There are the same number of contacts expected to come over this time.

Is it normal to take this long? I’m not sure if I should be worried, or try uninstalling again in the middle of everything.

thank you!

UPDATE: This morning (so 21 hours after installing), we are at 3534 API calls with no sync errors (and there should be at least a couple hundred expected immaterial errors), and zero contacts.

Should I uninstall and try again? Wait it out? Uninstall and get my contacts in via spreadsheet, THEN turn the integration on?

Thanks for any help you can offer.

I figured this out - I was waiting for Hubspot to add all existing contacts into our blank account, but somehow it already knew it had added those contacts previously, so it wasn’t going to add them again, and there wasn’t anything triggering a change. So instead I uploaded our email addresses from Excel (which took a few minutes), then watched them all link up to Salesforce records and update themselves (again, minutes).

I’ll add that before uploading the Excel, I tried uninstalling the integration several times, both from Hubspot and Salesforce, and even with both uninstalled, Hubspot “knew” that those contacts had already come over.

Hope this helps some other newb like me.
