Inbound Workflow

Hi there,

I’m planning to make an internal workflow to gain the number of client acquisition from inbound. The steps are more or less will look like this:

1. The contact lists are coming from enquiry and our free trial subscriber

2. Our marketing team will send various email contents related to our product
2. At the end of the step, our telemarketing team will follow up potential leads based on clicked or opened email

Any suggestions for workflow that can be used for our plan?

Thank you!

Hi @HannaMasturina,

Could you specify what exactly you need help with? It sounds like you’ve got the individual steps figured out. If you’re referring to HubSpot workflows, there wouldn’t be one workflow that can automagically take care of all of this, but maybe let’s cover these steps.

The contact lists are coming from enquiry and our free trial subscriber

For this you would use HubSpot website forms, in an active list you would collect the form submissions. Keep GDPR in mind (see consent options for forms). The resulting list could be used by marketing in the next step. No need for a workflow so far.

Our marketing team will send various email contents related to our product

If a workflow makes sense here depends on the type of information that is being sent. If you want to create an automated nurturing or drip campaign, that would be a use of a workflow. This free lesson in the HubSpot Academy is a good starting point. This blog post might also help you.

At the end of the step, our telemarketing team will follow up potential leads based on clicked or opened email

This again is where workflows could come in. You could notify the contact owner if a contact of theirs has clicked or opened an email. If the volume of contacts is too high for that (too many notifications), you could set a property value (e.g. Lifecycle stage is Marketing qualified lead) and create a filtered view for the telemarketing team where they can find and follow-up with these contacts.

Hope this helps!
