Images aren't saving in template

Hi I’m trying to create an email template within Gmail from an existing email.

All working ok but the images are not saving in the template.

Anyone know a fix?

This first screen shot shows original email.

The second shows what appears when I use the template.

Hi Myles,

I understand the frustration with email templates not saving images correctly in HubSpot when using Gmail. This can happen due to several reasons. Here are a few steps you can try to fix the issue:

  1. Check Image URLs: Ensure that the image URLs in the original email are absolute and publicly accessible.
  2. Clear Cache: Sometimes clearing your browser’s cache can resolve display issues. Give that a try and see if it helps.
  3. Gmail Compatibility: Make sure the images in the original email are embedded using standard HTML methods (e.g., <img src="URL" alt="description">). Gmail can have trouble with certain embedding methods.
  4. Upload Images to HubSpot: Upload the images directly into HubSpot and use those URLs in your template. This ensures the images are stored correctly within HubSpot’s environment.
  5. Different Email Clients: Test the email template in various email clients to ensure it’s not an issue specific to Gmail.

If these steps don’t resolve the issue, contacting HubSpot support might be the next best step to get specific assistance for your problem.

Good luck!

Best,
Adriane
