It would be swell if there was a tool that could identify if our contact’s emails were valid or not without us sending an email to them.
I am combing through old contacts with multiple emails and I thought of this idea when online with Hubspot Chat. It would make communicating with new / old clients a little smoother when wondering if the new / old emails are correct without having to find out the “hard way.”
Thank you! [Moderator Note: this post was reviewed for relevancy and optimized for clarity on October 21, 2025. Thank you for your contributions to the HubSpot Community!]
These tools exist and some of them integrate with HubSpot, such as Neverbounce, Verifalia, EmailHippo, Zerobounce, Kickbox
These tools will give you feedback whether an email can likely still be reached or not – effictely outsourcing what you would otherwise learn the ‘hard way’.
My team has been using Verifiable for the last 6 months and have been super happy with it. We tried a couple others, but we really liked that this one had an API with really good documentation. Most other services have little to no API documentation.
I’m the co-founder of truelist.io. We have a direct integration with Hubspot (Integrations | Truelist), and offer unlimited email validations at a fixed price.
i tried this. Thanks for sending along… but it is missing quite a but of funtionlaity from the larger players, such as auto correction of mistyped .comm, .clm, etc… and doesnt report anything additional about the email address, like date it was created (albeit we know this is dependant on other sources of data)
You might want to check out ExactVerify – it’s an email validation tool that lets you verify if email addresses are valid without sending an email. It checks for syntax issues, MX records, and even flags catch-all or disposable emails. Super helpful when you’re going through old contacts or multiple emails and want to avoid bounces or deliverability issues. I’ve used it to clean up lists before uploading to HubSpot, saving time.
I have been using Zerobounce for a long time. This is one of the good ones. It is very difficult to say which one is the best because it depends on what you are expecting from it, such as integration, outcomes, flexibility, ease of use, etc. I found Zerobounce as an overall fit, especially integration with HubSpot.
@AndrianV one quick suggestion: since you’re person behind unspam, it might be good to add a small disclaimer so readers know you’re affiliated with the company. That way, your recommendation is transparent.
