HubSpot - MailerLite

Good Morning, we are running 2 facebook lead campaigns at the same time. One for On-line customers and the other for OffLine. We want to start the mailing queue for both groups on the mailerlite. How, step by step, can we connect and separate these two groups so that the obtained e-mails do not get mixed up? Thank you very much in advance for your answer

Hi @kparol,

Thanks for getting in touch. Our MailerLite Datasync integration is great for syncing Contact information between the two platforms. However, we don’t have any insight into the operations of MailerLite itself. I took a look and found MailerLite’s Support Page here, that would be your best port of call.

In terms of separating the two groups of Contacts, this would depend on how MailerLite is handling these emails. If there’s a campaign, or a version, or a source property that designates one person is offline and another is online, then you could use the custom field mappings afforded by the integration to label each Contact, and then sync those Contacts with HubSpot.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

I’m guessing that the original poster has already found a solution, but thought I’d post a current response. The key is to separate the leads at the HubSpot level first, then sync them to MailerLite in a controlled way.

Option 1: Native HubSpot ↔ MailerLite (Data Sync)

Important limitation: the native integration does not sync contacts into specific MailerLite Groups. Everyone lands in the main audience, so separation must be done via fields/segments.

Steps

  1. Create a HubSpot contact property, e.g. Lead Type = Online / Offline.
  2. Ensure each Facebook lead campaign sets this value (via separate HubSpot forms, hidden fields, or workflows).
  3. Create two HubSpot active lists: FB Leads – Online and FB Leads – Offline
  4. Set up the MailerLite Data Sync and filter which contacts sync (by list or Lead Type).
  5. Map Lead Type to a MailerLite custom field.
  6. In MailerLite, build segments or automations based on that field, or use an automation step to add contacts to the correct group.

This works well if you’re OK with doing the final separation inside MailerLite.

Option 2: Using Outfunnel

Outfunnel is more direct if you want contacts to land in different MailerLite Groups automatically.

Steps

  1. Use the same two HubSpot lists (Online / Offline).
  2. In Outfunnel, create a HubSpot → MailerLite connection.
  3. For each connection:
    1. Source = one HubSpot list
    2. Target = one MailerLite group (Online or Offline)
  4. Repeat for the second list/group.
  5. Trigger MailerLite automations from those groups.

Summary:

Native integration → segment by fields in MailerLite (no group sync).

Outfunnel → clean list → group mapping with less logic in MailerLite.

Both approaches keep the two Facebook lead streams from mixing; the choice depends on how much routing you want MailerLite to handle vs. the integration itself.
