Hello together, I have a problem with the MS Teams Integration.
Use Case: Create a task or a ticket direktly from a chat. A message box view with a message in german “Fehler-Modalfenster”

The HupSpot App is online and the integration with my HubSpot Account in HubSpot Webfrontend ist fine. What can i do?

Hi @OAusten! From the error, it sounds like you are trying to create a ticket from a chat that involves multiple users like a group chat or shared channel. This error should resolve if you create the ticket from an individual or team email 1:1 conversation.

That message is actually expected behavior with the current HubSpot–Microsoft Teams integration.
The “Create task or ticket” option is only supported in personal chats or team channels, not in group chats. When you’re in a multi-person chat, Teams blocks the HubSpot message extension from creating CRM objects, which is why you see “Sie können keine Aufgaben und Tickets erstellen, da dies im Gruppenchat nicht unterstützt wird” (Connect HubSpot and Microsoft Teams )
To fix it, open a 1:1 chat with the HubSpot app or use it from a Team channel tab instead of a group message. You can also trigger ticket creation from HubSpot workflows that post into Teams automatically, which avoids the chat-type limitation.
