We have a multi-page form with a lot of required fields, and if one of the fields is not completed, when the submit button is clicked the user gets a vague message: “form could not be submitted because some fields contain errors”. It doesn’t even say the word “required fields”, let alone highlight which fields on which pages are missing information.
