Is it possible to display the unique form ID on the thank you page?
@ARajPB , happy Tuesday!
Thank you for reaching out to the HubSpot Community! ![]()
Are you able to provide a few more details on what you’re hoping to achieve? It sounds like you’re wanting a unique reference number to show to the contact after their form is submitted. If so, there is not a unique number that is externally facing that that can be used as a token to add to the thank you page.
Are you able to provide your use case and end goal for this request? (ie what is this number used for by the contact?) Then I can explore a workaround that may serve your needs.
Thanks for providing more details!
All the best,
Elyse
hey @EWood,
Thanks for replying.I have a signup page and once submitted it redirects to a a thankyou page.I need display some sort of id that in this thank you page that can be used as a reference by the customer when the team contacts them.
Hi @ARajPB,
This sounds like you might be looking for some sort of ticketing process? Have you considered using HubSpot Service Hub for this? Close More Tickets with Free Ticketing System | HubSpot
Upon form submission, you can create a ticket in your CRM with a specific ID. Using ticket automation, you can send this ticket ID to the contact; letting them know that their request was received and that you’re working on it. Similarly, when a ticket is closed, you can also send an email: Set up and manage object pipelines
If it’s just a matter for the team to better understand where a contact submitted a form, the team can easily see this information on the record timeline which can be filtered by form submissions: Filter activity index pages and record timelines
Should you still want to display an ID, I would recommend coming up with a short custom ID (e.g. #yourcompanyname_number) and setting this manually for pages. Form IDs in HubSpot look like this a20d31c7-c4b3-44c9-8602-c7cc988ced0f and aren’t very pleasant to look at / user friendly.
Hope this helps!
