We are currently exploring a way on how to view our Deals on the map to properly visualize how we are performing in different locations and help us in prospecting.
We tried Mapsly and Geomapper through Hubspot Marketplace.
Mapsly can show Contacts and Companies using the Hubspot created properties for their addresses. It can also show Deals on the map but automatically follows the address of the company it is associated with. Creating custom address properties for deals does not work.
Geomapper can only show Contacts and Companies by also using the Hubspot created properties. Custom properties do not work as well.
Do we have something in the marketplace that can help us view Deals on the map? Our Deals do not have the same addresses as the companies they are associated with them as we use the Project Site Address instead.

Thanks for the tag @BérangèreL - unfortunately I don’t have personal experience with this request. @BJavalla I think it’s a great idea, and a real bummer that custom properties don’t work.
I’ll ask some of my colleagues about it and see if anyone here at Impulse Creative has experience and a solution.
@BJavalla I’ve chatted with some colleagues (Brigette, Saul, Juli) and here’s what they’re thinking.
I think it would be applicable to standard AND custom objects as long as the map data points such as address and/or lat/long are saved on each of the deal records. It sounds like they are using Project Site Address as a property on the deal records which is what they want to be able to see on the map
Should be able to do that with a custom module and a custom property data. Just need to have either lat and long or a full address to plot in the map. The markers can also have popups that show details about the marker when you click it.
If you want to chat through more with this, send me a DM and I think I could grab 15 minutes with someone on my team for you.
“Street_address” is the HubSpot default one, which is indeed auto-filled based on what is on the associated Company.
All the other ones are custom properties which we have built and live under the Deal.
Before you can actually select them in the mapper settings you first need to have enabled them to be imported into Mapsly - not all your properties are synced by default!
I would however note that you can’t map half of your Deals to one address mix and the other half to a different mix. All Deals must be mapped via the same properties mix!
If that is a requirement, it is possible to sync and map some HubSpot Custom Objects.
We’ve been happy Mapsly customers for a while, and I would add that we don’t stand to gain anything by sharing the word - just wanted to pitch in if that could turn helpful to you !
Hi ABeian, I’m really happy to hear you have a solution that works for you. We want to setup something very similar. Did you do the setup on your own?
Is there someone who could help us set this up too?
Let me start with some questions and will see if I can do it on my own.
Are the new properties such as “Project Site Street” just simple “text” properties? Is there more to it than creating Street, City and Zip code?
Thanks for the help.
Hey @JoseMi,
Assuming we are still talking specifically about Mapsly, their support team is reponsive via their chat widget and should be able to guide you through it - they did for us at least!
The main thing to be mindful about is that whatever custom HubSpot properties you intend to use for the mapping they should be reliably filled out.
Either as an established internal process and / or via external tools; whatever works in your case.
But if those fields will be empty for any reason, the pin will NOT appear on the map for that specific entry!
As general steps:
1. Create the set(s) of properties need for your business case:
- 1 set = Street, City, Postal (+State, +Country, if applicable)
- in our case they are all all single-line text, but it would work with anything (for ex: dropdown for Country)
