You can typically add a blog to a site or make a blog a part of your site. But you simply don’t change one to the other, you just leave your blog up and add a store. Do you have any idea about the e-commerce software you are looking to use, or where your blog is hosted? You may also want to consider engaging with a partner to help with your website update.
@jlehner8 you’ll most likely need to do some migration work, copying and pasting your content into the new ecommerce site. I would also suggesting looking into 301 redirects for the old URLs so any links out in the world still work with the new links.
