So I’m working on updating our footers and headers for our landing page templates. We have a template uploaded with the right header and footer, and I just need to add those to the other pages that are being used. I have the code in front of me, I just need to know which lines of code I need to grab in the template in order to update the others. Just don’t want to brake anything.
Hi @Wesmorris6
Welcome to the Community!
You will need to add some screenshots or copy the code over here so we can see it. We are flying bling right now ![]()
@piersg and @Anton are solid HubSpot developers and might be able to help you along when you add the code!
As @dennisedson mentioned it - we need some code or at least screenshots to provide the best possible help.
But: It depends what you’re working with. If you’re using templates like the good “old” design-manager drag&drop you should convert your LP header and footer to a global group(strongly recomended if you don’t use it). By doing so you can add it to multiple templates and every change you make in one template will be automaticly set/updated in all templates which uses this global group.
If you’re using design-manager drag&drop you can install HubX from Neambo for your Chrome browser - this extension lets you copy-paste modules between templates with ease. But: This won’t work if the modules belongs to bought templates!
If you want to display your header/footer from a template in a theme it can get very tricky real quick. But you can do a “first fit” by copying the path of the global group, opening your theme and paste the path as a “global-partial” into the template.
best,
Anton
