How many Super Admins is too many? One of the common issues we see, when auditing HubSpot Portals, is WAY too many Super Admins. This is a risk for security, privacy and data hygiene (how many people just create Custom Properties whenever they feel like it?).
At Portal-iQ we’re working on a new Benchmark to check Super Admin use (or abuse). I’ve worked out a formula and I’d love to get your feedback.
Here’s my logic, based on User Count, what do you think?
-
Less than 20 Users
Minimum 2 Super Admins
Maximum 2 Super Admins -
20 - 50 Users
1 x Super Admin per 20 Users
Minimum 2 Super Admins
Maximum 3 Super Admins -
50 - 130 Users
1 x Super Admin per 30 Users
Minimum 3 Super Admins
Maximum 5 Super Admins -
130 - 340 Users
1 x Super Admin per 50 Users
Minimum 5 Super Admins
Maximum 8 Super Admins -
340 - 890 Users
1 x Super Admin per 80 Users
Minimum 8 Super Admins
Maximum 13 Super Admins -
More than 890 Users
1 x Super Admin per 130 Users
Minimum 13 Super Admins
Please comment on my formula, or share what your logic is for the number of Super Admins in a HubSpot Portal.
Thank you in advance.
