if(([properties.hs_analytics_source] == “Offline sources”), “Sales”, “Marketing”)
This doesn’t seem to work and I don’t understand why. All Test Formula values resulting in a sample output of “Marketing”
I prefer to avoid a workflow if possible.
Hi @CBabin0,
When you say “this doesn’t seem to work”, you’re checking records with an original source offline and the calculation field stays empty or does it state falsely?
Best regards
@CBabin0 to rule out that this is a reporting issue, have you checked the individual records that appear to be wrong?
In any case, this looks like a bug and I’d recommend flagging it directly with HubSpot support.
I appreciate the reply. I’ve sent in the bug. In general, is this type of calculation possible? I had a customer service rep last week tell me it wasn’t
@CBabin0 as far as I know it should be, I don’t see why it wouldn’t. Which explanation did the customer service rep offer as to why it cannot be done?
(As you did, I insist that this is buggy behavior when things like these come up. The user interface and documentation suggest it’s possible so even if there is some technical nuance that makes it currently impossible, the product team should, in my opinion, iron it out.)
Hey Karsten,
Just wanted to followup with a solution here. My issue was I wasn’t using the “Internal Name” of the picklist value which was “OFFLINE” in this case.
If anyone else runs inot this issue, to solve, go to the Dropdown Select (aka picklist) field. Go to Field Type and find the Dropdown Options. You’ll see “Internal Name” there.
