DataOps Certified Professional training can help learners understand data pipelines, automation, data quality, monitoring, and collaboration. It is useful for professionals looking to build practical skills for managing reliable and scalable data workflows.
Hey @monika_26,
Thanks so much for taking the time to post this reflection in the Community!
In an effort to provide others with resources that you’ve personally found helpful, we recommend linking those resources directly in your post! These can include: HubSpot Academy courses, knowledge base articles, Community threads, HubSpot-specific blogs, etc.
Looking forward to seeing what you recommend!

Hi @monika_26 — I like the way you’ve connected DataOps with practical skills. One thing I’d add for anyone coming from a HubSpot background is that a lot of these concepts can be applied directly to CRM operations.
For example:
Data quality → keeping contact and company data clean and consistent
Automation → using workflows to reduce repetitive manual processes
Monitoring → watching for workflow failures, sync issues, or unexpected changes in data
Data pipelines → understanding how information moves between HubSpot and other systems
Collaboration → making sure marketing, sales, service, and operations teams are working from the same data structure
If someone wants to turn the certification knowledge into hands-on HubSpot experience, I’d suggest picking a small CRM problem and actually building a solution for it — for example, a workflow that identifies incomplete records, flags them for review, and tracks whether the data was corrected.
That’s where the concepts start becoming much more practical than simply completing a certification.
For HubSpot-specific learning, I’d also recommend looking through the Data Quality, Workflows, and Data Sync sections of the HubSpot Knowledge Base. Those are good places to connect the broader DataOps concepts with things you can actually build inside HubSpot.
If you’ve found a particular part of the certification especially useful, I’d be interested to hear which one — that could be helpful for others considering the same learning path.
If you’re looking to turn the DataOps concepts into practical HubSpot skills, I’d also explore a few areas of the HubSpot Knowledge Base:
Data quality: probably the most directly connected to the DataOps idea. HubSpot’s Data Quality tools help identify duplicates, formatting issues, enrichment coverage, and property usage.
Use data quality tools
Data movement: a great connection to the “data pipelines” part of DataOps. HubSpot explains how data is synced between HubSpot and other apps, including monitoring record changes and recovering from failed updates.
Connect and use HubSpot data sync
Automation: connects directly to automation. HubSpot’s current documentation covers enrollment triggers, actions, testing, and workflow automation.
Create workflows
I think working through these with a small real-world CRM project would be a great way to turn the certification knowledge into hands-on experience.
If it does the trick, a solution mark would be greatly appreciated, it helps other users with a similar setup find the answer too!
I use a mix of HubSpot documentation, Community discussions, search, and generative AI tools to research different perspectives. AI is great for helping me explore ideas and uncover things I might miss, but I always bring my own judgment and practical thinking to the final answer.
Thank you
