Overview
Northeastern University’s Archimedes Center for Healthcare and Device Security is seeking an experienced HubSpot Designer / Developer (individual or agency) to lead a full redesign and optimize of our research website.
You will redesign and rebuild our website within HubSpot CMS, delivering a modern, accessible, mobile-responsive, and high-performance digital experience. The project includes UX redesign, custom module development, SEO optimization, QA testing, and post-launch support.
Key Responsibilities
- Redesign and rebuild website pages in HubSpot CMS
- Create wireframes and visual design mockups (desktop & mobile)
- Build custom HubSpot templates and modules
- Improve information architecture and user navigation
- Ensure mobile responsiveness and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility compliance
- Optimize performance (target: <2.5s load time, 90+ PageSpeed score)
- Implement SEO best practices (schema, meta tags, XML sitemap, redirects)
- Integrate forms, workflows, and HubSpot CRM
- Provide 40 hours post-launch support + team training and documentation
Primary Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience with HubSpot CMS
- Portfolio with 6–10+ completed HubSpot website projects
- Proficiency in HubL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, API development
- HubSpot certifications such as: SEO, In-Bound Certification, Context Marketing, CRM Mitigation, HubSpot CMS for Developers, HubSpot Solutions Architecture
- Proven accessibility compliance experience (WCAG 2.1 AA)
- Academic/research-related website experience is a plus (not required)
