Have form fields autofill based on button pressed on website

Hi folks,

I’m trying to make a registration form that would be used on multiple pages. Basically, since it would be used to register for multiple different things and be used across multiple locations, I would like for the button to access the form on a specific page autofill certain fields based on the page that they’re on (for example, if I’m using the form to register for class1, class2, class3… if the person wants to register for class1, it would autofill all of the information for class1 when they click on that specific page) is something like this possible, or would I have to find a work around like capturing the url of the specific page the user is on when they filled the form out? Thanks!

Hi @RWeir2,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community!
For information, I’d like to share these articles that might be of interest to you:
- Understand pre-populated form fields
- Use dependent form fields
- Use progressive fields in forms
I also wanted to invite a couple of subject matter experts to this conversation @Mike_Eastwood, @Shadab_Khan and @Anton, do you have any suggestions to help @RWeir2, please?
Also, if anybody else has anything to add and/or share, please feel free to join in the conversation :slightly_smiling_face:
Thanks and have a lovely day!

Thanks @BérangèreL ,

Hi @RWeir2 - Good Question here!

On Form (Front End): based on a value selected on the form you can build a conditional logic to “collect” that specific set of info and have pre-selected values on them

Within CRM (Back-end): You can do this via a Workflow Like this
