Hello everyone!
I understand that to start making the first steps toward recovering from a Google October Core Update, I need to analyze the SERP (= compare pages that got higher positions during the update or kept their positions with my site). Is there a checklist with specific parameters I should analyze?
Hi @LGayazetdinova,
Thank you for asking our Community!
I understand that you are looking for a checklist of actions after Google updated their algorithm.
This forum is dedicated to the HubSpot software, and most members of our Community are HubSpot, and not Google experts.
I anyway looked for you and found this article “Google October 2023 Core Update rollout is now complete” that might help.
"What to do if you are hit. Google has given advice on what to consider if you are negatively impacted by a core update in the past:
- There aren’t specific actions to take to recover. A negative rankings impact may not signal anything is wrong with your pages.
- Google has offered a list of questions to consider if your site is hit by a core update.
- Google said you can see a bit of a recovery between core updates but the biggest change would be after another core update."
I think that contacting Google Support here is the best next step.
Thank you and have a great day!
Best,
Bérangère
