Gmail keeps reloading automatically

My hubspot extension create conflicts with Gmail account. As soon as I turn on the Hubsopt extension the gmail account keep reloading automatically every 3/4 minutes. It’s impossibile to work and super annoying.

All the other extensions are off and I clean my cache every day.

Any help?

Hi @JGanino,

Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing the HubSpot extension? That would be my first suggestion.

Josh

Yeah already tried, also unistalled Google chorme and re-installed it but nothing, as soon as I activate the Hubspot extension it starts this infinite reloading session that never ends.

Yes, I did but it still the same.

Having the same problem

It’s a massive problem for me as I depend on hubspot email snippits and pre made things.

I love hubspot but this is causing me massive headaches

Hi. How can this reply be marked as ‘accepted solution’ when uninstalling / reinstalling the extension didn’t help anyone on the thread including the original poster?

Hey @MLipowski,

Thanks for chiming in here. The accepted solution has since been removed. That said, I’d like to add this older thread that I found here:

I’m curious if the steps from the above thread help out. I actually haven’t come across this issue myself, but hopefully that points you in the right direction. Otherwise, I see that your team has a paid portal and might suggest that reaching out to HubSpot Support if your issue persists!

This is happening for me too over the past few days. Disabling the Hubspot extension solves the issue but this doesn’t allow me to track any emails…

I have uninstalled and re-installed the Hubspot extension and still have the same issue (when the extension is enabled).

Chrome on Mac, Version 131.0.6778.265.

Happening for me also and it makes Gmail web completely unworkable.. I have reinstalled several times now but no luck. Its a handy extension, but this is a bad issue. Only happens for me sporadically, and more often in the last 2 weeks (i.e. late Nov 2025), since some updates were pushed. Could you raise this with your dev team for a quick fix please or provide me support.

Hey @SivaGounder - thanks so much for following up here!
We apologize for the frustration this issue must be causing. It’s certainly not the experience we want for our users.
To better understand the issue, would you mind confirming the following information:
-Which Internet browser are you using?
-Is the issue occurring for any other user(s) in your portal/at your company?
-Does the behavior happen immediately after uninstalling and reinstalling the extension? Or does it work as-expected for some time before occurring again?
-Does the issue occur if you disable all other browser extensions?

-Which Internet browser are you using? Chrome
-Is the issue occurring for any other user(s) in your portal/at your
company? No one else using this extension so I can’t check.
-Does the behavior happen immediately after uninstalling and reinstalling
the extension? Or does it work as-expected for some time before occurring
again?
Works as expected for a period then randomly starts to refresh.
-Does the issue occur if you disable all other browser extensions?
I only have 1 other extension which is Droplr, however I don’t think it’s
Droplr. I’m not keen to reinstall that also. This is a known issue with
your extension so Im thinking its the Hubspot extension. Happy to provide
more info.
thanks
Siva

Hey @ZTabakman - thanks for following up here. I can definitely understand the frustration.
Are you able to confirm the information in my reply to @SivaGounder to better help solve for this issue? Please see below:

Chrome - latest and greatest
-Is the issue occurring for any other user(s) in your portal/at your company?

Two have accounts in my Hubspot and one doesnt
-Does the behavior happen immediately after uninstalling and reinstalling the extension? Or does it work as-expected for some time before occurring again?

It started happening a while back - it would take some time and then settled down.

The other day it was so bad i searched and found this conversation

I first tried shutting down the extension - that didnt work

Then I uninstalled it and reinstalled it.

That cleared the problem.
I still have it a little - but eventuallly it stops

Today - when I booted up - it didnt happen at all

So maybe the fairy’s have killed the gremlins in an epic battle

-Does the issue occur if you disable all other browser extensions?

As described above.
I really like hubspot - but this problem lost me several hours of work.

I really rely on the templates for much of my work.

I have db of 30,000+ contacts - so i am very reliant on Hubspot for many things

Hey @ZTabakman - thanks so much for the follow-up context here!
While I’m so happy to hear that our HubSpot fairies may have cleared up this issue (fingers crossed), I just sent you a DM with possible next steps should the issue come up again!
